FTR - Document Explorer
This is only available when the General Finder screen is displayed. The user may perform a Full Text Retrieval Search for documents whose substance contains the entered words.

FTR data is entered into the system via all Notes, Content Management and any index fields specified by the system administrator as an FTR field.


Data Entry
Full Word
The user may enter whole word(s) words to search for.

When entering whole words a '+' sign may prefix a word to specify that the following word must be present.

a '-' sign may prefix a word to specify that the following word must not be present.

Literal phrases should be enclosed in quotation marks.

Part Word
The user may enter a partial word to search for.


Buttons
FTR Search
The system will search all FTR data for matches.

If the record selected in the results section has any content it will be displayed in the Content Section. FTR Search Text words will be highlighted and navigation to each occurrence is available through the First, Next, Prev(ious) and Last buttons.

First
Highlights and positions the cursor to the first occurrence of the entered word(s).

Next
Highlights and positions the cursor to the next occurrence of the entered word(s).

Prev
Highlights and positions the cursor to the previous occurrence of the entered word(s).

Last
Highlights and positions the cursor to the last occurrence of the entered word(s).
