e-Mail

The e-mail address entered in the in-tray section should not be external to the enterprise. SMTP servers will not send e-mail to external address unless configured to do so by your administrator.

e-mail will only be sent from an in-tray user if the Send e-mail Y/N is set to Y.

Mail is sent in two ways:

1. Automatically by SMTP where the recipient is known

2. By the delivery mechanism local to the user where the recipient is not known.

Mail can be sent immediately from the user, or on a scheduled basis by the Softology SMTP Server.

Server SMTP mail

Mail from the Softology SMTP server will be sent from an administrator specified user. This user is configured in the MSMAIL section of e4DM.INI
