Batch Indexing
Batch Indexing allows manual indexing of items from disk.


Data Entry
Select the Index Template and Batch to index.

Index data may be entered according to the rules established in the index template.

If the user has permissions to route new cases then the option to Send To in-trays is available.


Buttons
Index
Adds the user entered index information against the document ready for 'Posting'. The return key defaults to this button.

Page
Indexes the current document as a continuation sheet of the last indexed item. This button is only active if the index button has been clicked at least once before within this batch.

Increment
Increments by one automatically incremented fields as defined by this index template.

Index All
Indexes all documents within a selected batch automatically as one item with the entered index information.

Post
Takes all indexed information, updates the e4DM database and moves the items. It also removes the batch if all items in a batch have been indexed. Posting can occur at any time. It will post only the indexed items and leave unindexed items in the batch.

Delete
Deletes the currently viewed document.

Exit
Exits the application.
